Abe Singer

Combining cold bending and welding fabrication techniques with hand forging and blacksmithing, Abe Singer harnesses intensity and pressure to mold metal into shape. He connects with his art in a very physical and personal way, often utilizing unusual and inventive methods to coax the image in his mind into physical reality. He creates metal sculptures with themes that are relatable and forms that are not only skillfully constructed, but intuitively beautiful and balanced. The distinctive ring of Abe’s hammer on metal can be heard through the trees along the Wynoochee River just outside of Montesano, WA.
