Priscilla Jones has spent her time as a cellist playing in various symphony orchestras including the New Mexico Symphony, the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, and the Oberursal Kammer Orchester. She maintains a private Suzuki Cello Studio for students ages 4-adult. Since moving to the island in 1993, she has helped Elizabeth Foster found the Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestra, and has organized a multi-age group of cellists who call themselves, “Cello Mania.” Priscilla is a registered Suzuki Teacher Trainer and a past president of the Suzuki Association of Washington State. She has enjoyed playing in local concert series including Music Millenium, Intimate Music Series, Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra, and with her new quartet, Olympic Serenade. When not playing her cello, she can be found hiking in the Olympic Mountains.
