Bainbridge Studio Tour

We are looking for regional artists with original work, professional quality, and items that are designed and crafted by you! Participation in the events is required – our customers love to meet you and get to know you. We work hard to promote the Tour through the website, ads, brochures, banners, social media, etc. and ask that you do your part as well. As a result, we have been a success for over 38 years now! There is no commission on sales. You pay a registration fee, and $25 jury* fee once every three years. And every artist has a small volunteer job

The Bloedel Reserve Community Creative Program was established to offer local members of the community the opportunity to utilize Bloedel Reserve as a place of inspiration for their work over a period of several months. The program offers the community new ways of interacting with the Reserve and the program participants time to develop a relationship with nature. Selected Community Creatives have access to the grounds beyond public hours and are offered a $1000 stipend in support of their work. Each Community Creative is expected to offer at least one community engagement opportunity for the public. There is no housing associated with this program. Bloedel Reserve Creative Residency Call for Applications

Bloedel Reserve is accepting application for the 2024 Creative Residency Program. The Creative Residency program at Bloedel Reserve provides artists and innovative thinkers with a three-week stay on the Bloedel Reserve grounds, with unlimited access to the Reserve’s 140 acres of sculpted gardens, forests, meadows, and wildlife habitats. Residents have 24-7 access to the Bloedel grounds during their stay. Creative Resident receive a $1000 stipend. Residency Requirements Your project, artwork, or research must relate to nature in some specific way. Special consideration will be given to projects that investigate the relationship between people and natural world. Once selected, each Creative Resident must offer a public presentation, workshop, lecture, demonstration, viewing, or concert as part of their Residency. In honor of Black Pioneers in Kitsap County, the City of Bremerton’s Art Commission is accepting submissions for its Open-Air Gallery. At least four 4’H x 4’W vinyl panels will be added on the Washington Ave retaining wall. Artists are asked to consider individuals that helped shape the cultural history of Bremerton. Theme information is included on page 2 of the Call to Artists, linked below. The selected artist(s) will receive an award (stipend) of $300 for each work, recognition on the public art panel, and the City of Bremerton promotional materials. Artist do not fabricate or install the final art on the wall. Artist are invited to submit up to three files for consideration.
