Volunteer & Tour Coordinator (Full Time)

We can’t do all that we do without our 200+ incredible volunteers and the tours that introduce a range of guests to the splendor of our renowned gardens and nature preserve on Bainbridge Island. As Coordinator, you are at the center of our guest experience; recruiting and training our volunteers and docents and assuring that they are engaged in the best way. You also manage our guided tours so that guests and guides are properly matched for a great experience. We require a college degree (or the equivalent) and 4 or more years’ volunteer management, administrative coordination, customer services or guest services. We want someone with a passion for sharing Bloedel Reserve, complemented by an interest in horticulture, the arts, or non-profits. You should enjoy working flexibly with a variety of people, responding to their unique needs and making them all feel appreciated. Your attention to communications, systems and providing training multiply your effectiveness. This job is full time and includes working on site Saturdays April through September.
