Bruno B. Art Collectif presents Leslie Nan Moon

The bold and wistful linocut prints of Leslie Nan Moon featuring sea creatures, city scapes, maps and serendipitous scenes with inspirational messages, are being presented by Bruno B. Art Collectif, a pop-up gallery at Pegasus Coffee House, at 131 Parfitt Way, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. The works will be on display during the month of June and available for purchase via the gallery’s online shop. Pegasus is open Sun-Thurs from 7am to 4pm, and Fri-Sat from 7am to 5pm. Leslie has always loved to make art. She graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in printmaking and book arts and it remains her passion to this day. Leslie shares: “Art has saved my soul and my sanity. When I’m working on a new linocut or woodcut I get lost in it. It takes me away from being a mom of a profoundly autistic teenager. It makes me forget for a little while about my daily life and uncertain future. I need it. It gets me up some mornings and helps me to sleep better at night. The bonus is people enjoy it! I am proud and honored every time somebody purchases a piece of my art. So I don’t just love to make art, I need to make art.”
