Frank Buxton Silent Film Festival 2019

Join BIMA for a three-day cinematic journey exploring the pleasures, history and lost art of American silent film!

The festival will include titles such as:

  • The Cameraman Directed by Edward Sedgwick and Buster Keaton
  • A collection of shorts featuring the work of Georges Méliès,
  • The Eyes of the Totem This haunting feature was shot on the streets of Tacoma, WA in 1926 by H.C. Weaver Studios and lost for decades.
  • A collection of early European silent films curated by Rob Byrne, in collaboration with Eye Films Amsterdam.
  • And more!
