Library U's 2023 foreign affairs discussion series, GREAT DECISIONS AT THE LIBRARY, continues on Sunday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at the Bainbridge Public Library with a program on Ukraine's language and culture. LAADA BILANIUK, U.W. professor of linguistic anthropology and an expert on language, identity, and politics in Ukraine and throughout the post-Soviet world, will discuss Ukraine's cultural and linguistic relationship with Russia, which is particularly relevant to understanding the current situation in Ukraine.
