4-Week Meditation Series: Sundays, 1:00-2:00pm Dates: May 1 – 22, 2022
This series is great for beginners and those who already have a meditation practice. You will be offered:
guided meditations and reflections
short exercises that actually fit into your life
tips for finding time to practice in your busy day
audio recordings of guided meditations to do on your own
resources if you want to go further
Session 1: The habit of negativity & turning to joy
Session 2: Metta: kindly friendliness
Session 3: Equanimity & compassion: keeping an even keel in the face of suffering
Session 4: Mudita: contagious joy spreading!

Shoshanna Kirk is a graduate of the Sounds True Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program through with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. She has also studied meditation through the Stanford Compassion Cultivation Training, MBSR for Childbirth and Parenting, Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach's Power of Awareness program, James Baraz's Awakening Joy program, Rick Hanson's Foundations of Well Being program, as well as at Cloud Mountain, Spirit Rock, Esalen, San Francisco Zen Center and Green Gulch Zen Center

**Vaccination Required: This in-person series requires that students are fully vaccinated to attend. In addition, windows will be kept open to increase ventilation in the studio space. Please bring sufficient warm layers to be comfortable.
