Amy Roberts is a mixed-media sculptor who lives and works on Bainbridge Island. She studied glass at the Cleveland Institute of Art and was an instructor at the Pilchuck Glass School. She was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Fellowship Grant and received a fellowship to the Creative Glass Center of America. Her sculptures have been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally and her work is included in numerous public collections, including Microsoft Corp., American Glass Museum, City of Seattle, and Huntington Museum of Art. She currently operates a gallery and studio in Winslow.

Amy's work is abstract and minimalist in nature, with light being a primary element within her sculpture. Her compositions juxtapose contrasting materials such as glass and burned wood, to explore the interplay between light and shadow. She uses textural variations between natural and industrial components, to explore the refraction of light between disparate elements. Her sculptures range in size from small podium pieces, to large scale wall-mounted works.
