Gerry Newcomb uses cast glass as the primary medium for his creative imagery. These open-faced castings have one clear and glossy side that allows the viewer to see into the piece. The opposite side is formed into detailed and intricate shapes and textures. The result is an object that can be viewed from multiple perspectives. In addition, many of the works are silvered allowing light to enter the surface and reflect off the glass textures and colors.

Gerry’s artwork is shown through various galleries and is also included in many public and private commissions. His current work focuses on large-scale, outdoor sculpture. He works from his studio on Lopez Island, Washington.
