Jeffrey Moose Gallery 6pm
Mixed media collages and paintings by Suquamish artist Gerry Lonning. Mr. Lonning works in subtle grids with soft shades, often complimented by found images, reflecting a sophisticated and humorous understanding of Abstract Expressionism and other modern movements.
Bainbridge Island Museum of Art 6:20pm
Fiber 2020. Some exhibiting artists:
Ko Kirk Yamahira: creates deconstructed painted canvases He has won a special recognition award through SAM's Betty Bowen Award. Lives in Seattle.
Zia Gipson: Diverse works, she uses mixed media, papers, etc. Lives on Whidbey Island.
Gail Grinnell: Sculptural work, conceptual than representative -- most of her work now is installation work. Lives in Seattle.
Maria Phillips: Made of recycled paper cups, tv tray -- her work is about consumerism, environmental issues - Had a recent solo recent show at Bellevue Arts Museum. Lives in Seattle.
Bergh Images 6:40pm
Andrew Bergh exhibits his evocative images in eclectic genres, including landscape/nature, urban, and travel, and in different mediums, including metal, acrylic, canvas, and custom-framed B&W prints. Recent images from Spain are currently being highlighted.
Coldwell Banker Bain 7pm
Paintings by Sarah Cameron, who grew up spending her summers mostly barefoot and on horseback, the fourth generation on her family's farm in Mississippi
