Bloedel: Winter in the Woods

Bloedel: Winter in the Woods

Presented by Bloedel Reserve at Bloedel Reserve

Take a Walk in the Woods
How many fanciful snow people and deer can you spot on the trail? These wooden creatures have all been handcrafted and decorated by the Bloedel crew. They are made from fallen trees and other materials found on the grounds. If you’re especially lucky, you might see some live deer along the way as well. Pick up a way-finding map at the start of the trail when you arrive. (Downloadable trail maps will be coming soon!)

Make a Wish for New Year
When you get to the Residence lawn, you’ll see three trees. The center one is our Community Wishing Tree, which is waiting there for you to decorate with your wishes and hopes for the New Year. You’ll find wooden ornaments and pencils (individually wrapped for your health and safety) in the the mailboxes near the trees.

Give the Gift of Food
This year, we’re proud to be partnering with YWCA Kitsap County to hold a canned food drive to help families all around our community who are in need this holiday season. Please bring something to contribute. You’ll find the collection bin by the Gatehouse near the beginning of the trail.
