Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Romani campsite with their version of Hot Club Swing. The band’s repertoire includes swing standards, traditional European melodies, and the music of Django Reinhardt.

Jim Char's solos remind us of some of the biggest stars in Hot Club Swing today--he plays clean and fast, and he'll mix in some modern jazz and funk licks as well. He's a member of Pearl Django and his crisp, driving rhythm guitar elevates any group he's with!
