About Mitzi Asai Loftus: Born in Hood River, Oregon, in 1932, Mitzi spent three years of her childhood in government incarceration camps. For over seven decades, she has captivated audiences with her tales of her family's experiences. A Fulbright scholar who taught English in Japan, Mitzi's life is a testament to resilience and transformation.
