Music for These Distracted Times

Mozart and Haydn stand at the pinnacle of late 18th and early 19th century classical music. The clarity, transparency, and balance heard in their music is truly a balm for the soul.

Janet See, performing on the 6-keyed classical flute, will be joined by colleagues Christine Beckman on violin, Laurie Wells on viola, and Nathan Whittaker on cello, in a concert of chamber music by Danzi, Mozart, and Haydn.

The program will include Mozart’s D Major flute quartet, the sublime Adagio from an 1801 arrangement of the Op. 20 No. 5 string quartet of Haydn, and movements from an 1804 arrangement of Don Giovanni for flute and string trio.
