Remy Sol is an American roots music songwriter, singer and guitarist currently based in Poulsbo, Washington. She spent her youngest years in Ojai, California, where she began to play violin at age three. By her fifth birthday, she moved to Guanajuato, Mexico, and from there to San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca, where she lived for almost eight years. At age 13, Remy returned to the United States and took up the guitar, singing, and songwriting where she discovered a vibrant acoustic Americana musical community, and her strong affinity for North American roots music. Remy Sol has played gigs with such local luminaries as the guitarist Ray Wood, and shared stages with a cross-section of musicians from Bainbridge Island, Olympic Peninsula and Oaxaca, Mexico.

Remy Sol released her first EP, Approaching, in September, 2019, showcasing four original songs recorded with musicians in Oaxaca, Mexico. Approaching is available for streaming and download on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, and approximately twenty other sites. She is currently writing songs and planning her full length debut album, as well as playing local gigs.
