“I made as a fun drawing exercise to help students loosen up in their drawing skills, and to help them think about the structure of a face. This is a  way to get your hand moving and your brain thinking, as we follow the journey of a line from the beginning to the end and show what beauty can be created along the way.”

ABOUT ISOBEL CONEY. She enjoys combining cultural, environmental and historical studies with art, using techniques spanning painting, quilting, felting, knitting, batik, printmaking, hand-made paper and woodland crafts. She has experience teaching in schools and running workshops for adults. She is an active member on the Arts Washington Roster of Teaching Artists and passionate about experimenting with new techniques and sharing that journey with students.
