“Dear Members & Donors of Bloedel Reserve, No one could have anticipated the events of the last few months. We are living through extraordinary times and every day brings new challenges to us all. These tough times can be eased by spending time in nature, so our inability to share this special place with you for more than two months has been especially difficult.

 A phased reopening forexclusively for Bloedel Reserve Members & Donors We recently received very good news. Governor Inslee’s office has granted us permission to proceed with a phased reopening of the grounds – on the condition that we create a safe environment for our guests and staff and provided that we strictly limit the number of people visiting at any one time.­­­­ To that end, we have developed a one-way trail system and implemented a rigorous cleaning schedule, social distancing protocols, and a new system for timed ticketing. Timed ticketing allow­s­ you to select a specific day and time slot for your visit. Please note that we are limiting the number of tickets you can request so that we can keep the number of people visiting the Reserve at any one time within the State’s requirements. As a Bloedel Reserve supporter, you are at the very heart of what makes this special place possible:

We have made some changes at the grounds so that everyone can safely experience the spring beauty of Bloedel Reserve. Please be aware that guests arriving without timed tickets will not be admitted to the Reserve. We also need your help.We anticipate there may be some speed bumps with our new systems and protocols.
