“Hello Everyone,

So much has changed in such a short amount of time. We’re all struggling to understand where we’re headed in the face of Coronavirus! For me, and no doubt for you, the hardest part of this “sheltering-in-place” has been the forced separation from family, friends and community.

In spite of the difficulties we’re enduring, I see a bright spot in the innovative approaches that different communities are taking to stay connected. People are interacting in new and unexpected ways- virtual bookclubs, online concerts, drawing and painting challenges, online art openings… in Italy, all over the country,  people have been singing from their balconies simultaneously to show their solidarity!

I’m committed to doing my part in keeping our art community together and helping it flourish. I’m excited to announce that starting in April, Winslow Art Center will offer online courses, virtual studios, artist talks and lots more! This is my way of helping us stay connected as artists and pursue our passions. In these times of social distancing, engaging with our creativity is more vital than ever for our physical and mental health. I look forward to seeing what you’re creating, so please share!

Thank you for being a part of the Winslow Art Center community.
Be safe!
