Young Engineers will assemble a model vehicle of their choice, from wooden components, while learning how things move. Goals: read instructional maps, collaborate in group experiments, and apply critical thinking skills.
Wheels, Axels, Pulleys, Levers, Distance, Measurement, Gravity, and Einstein’s 3 Laws of Motion. Engineers will read instructional maps, collaborate in group experiments, and apply critical thinking skills to solve real world problems. Each child will assemble a model vehicle of their choice, from wooden components, while learning how things move. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and a rain jacket. Be prepared for a full day of outdoor learning and having fun with Art! Meet at the Eagle Dale Park picnic Shelter on 5055 Rose Hill NE., Bainbridge Island.
