"Iris Flare" for Sale

The Public Art Committee (PAC) is calling for all islanders who loved "Iris Flare" to participate in this wonderful opportunity.

"Iris Flare" was the winner of the 2018 'People's Choice Award.'  This piece, created by Lin McJunkin and Milo White is now available for purchase.  The price is $4,500.  This particular piece of art will be purchased in the memory of Pernell Tyus.

The purchase of public art is greatly welcomed by the artists.  McJunkin emphasized that one of the things artists consider, when answering an artist call, is the opportunity to have their work purchased.  It's important to artists that their work find a permanent place.  The acquisition of this piece would fulfill this desire and support PAC's mission to "enhance the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Bainbridge Island, inspiring communal conversation and individual contemplation through art in public spaces."
