Learn how to make one of the fundamental building block of artist’s books. Accordion books provide endless opportunities for writers, artists, and anyone interested in storytelling. In this workshop, learners will use basic bookmaking techniques such as finding paper grain, folding and joining paper, and covering boards and will explore the artist’s books shown in the BIMA’s Sherry Gover Gallery for inspiration.
