All Nature Sings

We invite you to join the Bainbridge Chorale in celebrating the beauties of the natural world in their spring concert All Nature Sings, featuring contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo’s masterwork, Sunrise Mass, scored for double choir and strings.
The composer has written about this piece: “I wanted the musical development of the Mass to go from the most transparent and spacey to something completely earthy and grounded, from nebulous and pristine to more emotional and dramatic, and eventually warm and solid, as a metaphor for human development from child to adult, or as a spiritual journey.”
Other  notable works include Galaxias by Argentinian composer Santiago Veros, whose luminous, long-held harmonies illuminate the various ways in which those who go before us continue to guide us in life. An eclectic selection of music by Ron Jeffers, Frank Ticheli, Jacob Narverud, Adam & Matt Podd, Joni Mitchell, and Ysaye Barnwell rounds out the program.
