BAC Artist Talk: Danis Morgan

Danis Morgan was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska and moved to Bainbridge her senior year of high school. She attended Cornish College of the Arts for Interior Design and after graduating worked at NBBJ.
From Bainbridge she moved to Laguna Beach in 2000. There, she was asked to be an artist at the women run Southern California Art Projects and Exhibitions (SCAPE) in Corona Del Mar. Morgan is still represented by SCAPE. In 2015 her family moved back to Bainbridge. In 2018, she received a fellowship to paint and draw in an expressive landscape in Larroque Saint Sernin at La Vielle Ferme Nautucat, southwest France. Her works are in private collections in California, Washington, and France.
Morgan currently lives on Bainbridge with her three kids, seven hens, two cats, and dog.
