The Summer Art Market is taking over the plaza outside BIMA this summer. Explore vendor booths featuring handmade, locally-crafted treasures for sale, listen to live local music, and enjoy the beautiful PNW summer rain or shine! This in-person art market will take place every Sunday, July 9 – July 30. Each Sunday will feature different vendors and local musicians. More info to come on vendors and musicians for each market.

Please note that all sales at the Summer Art Market go directly to the independent vendors and are not associated with the Museum Store. Due to this, the BIMA Member Museum Store discount will not apply to any purchases from vendors at the Summer Art Market.

View moreBIMA is located in the Island Gateway complex which has accessible parking spaces on Ravine Lane. There is a flat surface entering the courtyard, which leads into the museum. Parking is also available in the underground garage. Take the elevator to First Floor Rear (1R) during museum hours for access through the Community Gallery to the Auditorium, Bistro and Museum.
All of the Museum is accessible by ramps and elevators. If someone in your party needs a wheelchair to enjoy the museum, please ask to borrow a loaner one at the reception desk.
