Join Island Cooperative Preschool and the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District for a morning planting and mulching native plants at the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial. All tools are provided, but please come prepared with closed toed shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a water bottle.
All volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire event.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Per the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District’s current Employee and Volunteer COVID 19 Policy: Outdoor Volunteers do not have to provide proof of vaccination or test results. Outdoor Volunteers will follow current federal and state guidelines regarding face coverings. Park District staff are keeping close track of current state masking requirements. All participants will be aware of masking expectations at the event. Please note that these requirements may be updated, and any participant who does not wish to comply with a volunteer work party's COVID safety protocols will be asked to leave.
