Every First Friday through September, the Bainbridge History Museum will host an Art Walk reception, with refreshments and exhibit-viewing.
In the Helen L. Bucey Gallery, a new exhibit this year: Posted. Posted features the history of post offices around the Island. Neighborhood post offices and the men and women who kept Bainbridge Islanders connected to the world, Posted highlights another side of local history.
The 1908 schoolhouse holds the Museum’s primary exhibit, Our Community Past to Present, featuring 13 different communities on Bainbridge Island, including: African American, Business, Faith, Farming, Filipino American, Forestry, Indipino, Japanese American, Maritime, Military, Pickleball, Pride, and Suquamish.
