Free Concert on Winslow Green

Powers is an amazingly talented young violinist from Sequim. At just 19 years old, she already has a unique sound, very fluid and creative! She started with Old-Time Fiddle music, and studies any genre she can get her hands on, including Gypsy Jazz, Bluegrass, Classical, Irish, Romanian, Klezmer, Cape Breton, Texas Swing and more! Kate graduated high school in 2017, and hopes to earn a degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Washington.

 The concert will feature music from Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” repertoire of swing standards and traditional Gypsy melodies. Admission is free, and the band will collect donations.
