Part one in the Bainbridge Public Library’s 2023 Great Decisions foreign affairs discussion series.

Library U's 2023 foreign affairs discussion series, GREAT DECISIONS AT THE LIBRARY, begins on Sunday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bainbridge Public Library with a discusion on climate migration.

As climate change accelerates and drought and rising sea levels become more common, millions of people in affected regions must uproot themselves and seek safety elsewhere. Who are these affected individuals, and how might the United States aid them and be affected by the migration?

While enjoying coffee and pastries, participants view a 30-minute Foreign Policy Association film on the topic and then take part in a discussion lead by Sara Curran, Professor of International Studies at the UW Jackson School.
