Great Decisions at the Library - Ukraine: One Year of War

Part four in the Bainbridge Public Library’s 2023 Great Decisions foreign affairs discussion series.

Military historian LAURENCE KERR will lead a panel discussion on the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the current situation.

He will be joined by:

Dale Perry, a Bainbridge Island resident who runs Energy Resources of Ukraine. When Russia launched its extensive invasion of Ukraine on February 24, Dale started an aid operation from Poland to purchase and deliver relief aid to Ukraine.

Anthropologist Mariana Markova, who was raised in Russia and now teaches in the Seattle area. She is working to assist Russians who have been imprisoned in Russia for their opposition.
