Young Scientists will experience a full day of outdoor learning and having fun with Art! Create Rock Cycle experiments, clay creatures, nature journaling, paint peace rocks, and identify land and water forms shaped by glacial deposits.
Experience the twists and turns of a local park trail system. Engage in rock cycle science experiments, make compassionate clay creatures, write/draw in a nature journal, and identify land and water forms shaped by glacial deposits. Study the parts of a volcano, learn about earthquake waveforms, paint a peace rock and more! Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and a rain jacket. Be prepared for a full day of outdoor learning and having fun with Art! This event will be held at the Fort Ward Hill Park. Meet at the South East entrance off of Fort Ward Hill Rd NE.
