Young Biologists will use their powers of observation to hunt for sea glass, listen for barking seals, learn about the life cycle of salmon, and have Fun with Art as they draw Orca Whales inspired by the Haida.
Wetlands, watersheds, and wildlife habitats. Young Biologists will use their powers of observation to hunt for sea glass on local beaches, listen for barking seals, learn about the life cycle of salmon, and discover how to draw Orca Whales using traditional ovoid shapes inspired by the Haida. Make a drip color wheel, discover Splatter Art and expressive watercolor mixing. Bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and a rain jacket. Be prepared for a full day of outdoor learning and having fun with Art! This event will be held at Point White. Meet at the parking lot across from Point White pier. Cost is per child. We are seeking a minimum 4 student enrollment to hold this camp. Please email us if other dates work best with your busy summer schedule.
