Presented by Bainbridge Island Climate and Energy Forum at Bainbridge Island Public Library, Bainbridge Island WA

Oct 03 2019
Movies That Matter: Merchants of Doubt

Inspired by the acclaimed book by Naomi Oreskes and Erik Conway, “Merchants of Doubt” explores how a set of pundits-for-hire present themselves as scientific authorities on topics such as tobacco and climate change.

This is part of the "Movies That Matter" series hosted by the Bainbridge Island Climate and Energy Forum.

Following the film there will be a panel discussion with David Korten, author of "When Corporations Rule the World" (https://davidkorten.org/), and Kevin Thomas, an internet entrepreneur with a specialty in media and digital advertising.
