New Business Opening: Lively Olive Tasting Bar

Welcome to Lively Olive Tasting Bar.  We now have two locations, Port Townsend, Washington 929 Water Street (360-385-3993) and Bainbridge Island 152 Winslow Way E (206-488-0854).  We carry a wide variety of award winning extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars.  We are a tasting bar and we invite you to come in and try our products.

In October of 2019 the Wake/Mckenzie family purchased the Lively Olive.  The business was a perfect opportunity for this young family.  The owners are Kyle Mckenzie, Kali Mckenzie, Aleta Wake, Kendal Wake, Jennifer Wake and Jeremy Wake, pictured above left to right.  Jennifer Wake is the manager of the Lively Olive and is who you will see most days in the store.  Jennifer has been a quick study in understanding the olive oil business.  She was trained by Sandy and she also attend training in California at the olive oil supplier’s factory.  Our professions include, funeral direction, sales, health care, professional pickleball, and homemakeing.  We have also been in retail in the past with a store in Washington State.  Customer service is our priority.  We want every person that comes in the store to have a great experience.  Since we bought the store we have updated the web site so that orders can now be completed on line.  Kali and Kyle both attended high school in Sequim and lived in Sequim before moving to Spokane.  Kendal and Aleta live and work in Sequim.  Jeremy and Jennifer live and work in Port Townsend.  As a family we are very excited about the store and look forward to many years of ownership.
