Join BIMA for local hip-hop and experimental art-rock talent as Upper Left and Spawn of the Machines bring it to BIMA’s Frank Buxton Auditorium.
It’s Snowglobe party night, a celebration of local hip-hop and experimental art-rock talent as Upper Left and Spawn of the Machines bring it to BIMA’s Frank Buxton Auditorium. Come out, get down, and support these up-and-coming artists!
Upper Left lights up BIMA with an evening of hip hop, r&b, and good grooves. The dynamic ensemble features a range of talent from the West Sound including Mackrayz, One Dot, Pnw Nils, and Denzel2AM. Their influences range from J. Cole, N.W.A., Mac Ayres, and 50 Cent, to the sounds of 98.9 KWJZ Smooth Jazz, various soul, and Motown artists, and gospel that they grew up listening to—with some Kung Fu and Manga (Japanese comic books) thrown in.
Opening for Upper Left is the noise and performance art trio, Spawn of the Machines, a newly founded group from Seattle. They’re fascinated by exploring the connection between music and the fine arts and invite everyone to explore with them. Calder Bischoff is a producer, composer, and musician
