Veg Club: Gardening Classes at the Library

For the August session we’ve planned a Fruit Tree Field Trip to Darren Murphy’s garden. Darren is head of Bainbridge Island Fruit Club. He grows dozens of fruits, including berries, grapes and multi-grafted tree-fruits in his small suburban garden. Whether you have a postage stamp plot or a large expanse, you can grow great fruit in your yard and Darren can help you get started as he’ll be sharing the secrets of his success.

The tour is open to all levels of fruit growers and gardeners. It’s free.

Veg Club is presented in partnership with the Bainbridge Prepares Food Resiliency Team (because growing food is part of being prepared) and the Bainbridge Branch of the Kitsap Regional Library (because vegetable gardening is smart, healthy and cool)
