Bainbridge Open Mic Poetry at the Library

We’re excited to offer Open Mic for poets of all experience levels to read their work to an appreciative audience. This is a great opportunity to reach new readers and meet people who love words as much as you do. It takes courage to share your work with others. Be brave!

Open to the public, and everyone is welcome (Ages 14 and up.) No need to register in advance. Signup for the open mic will start at 6:45 pm. Poets will be asked to keep their readings to four minutes or less.

Featured Reader: Linda Bierds has published ten books of poetry. Her work has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Poetry, and Best American Poetry. Her awards include recognition from the NEA, The Guggenheim Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
