Bainbridge Open Mic Poetry at the Library

We’re excited to offer Open Mic for poets of all experience levels to read their work to an appreciative audience. This is a great opportunity to reach new readers and meet people who love words as much as you do. It takes courage to share your work with others. Be brave!

Open to the public, and everyone is welcome (Ages 14 and up.) No need to register in advance. Signup for the open mic will start at 6:45 pm. Poets will be asked to keep their readings to four minutes or less.

Featured Reader: Abby E. Murray is the editor of Collateral, a literary journal concerned with the impact of violent conflict and military service beyond the combat zone. She is widely published and the winner of the 2024 Neil Postman Award. Her book, Hail and Farewell, won the Perugia Press Poetry Prize and was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award.
