WHAT'S THE HARM? A Substance Abuse Prevention Panel Discussion

Who: This event is for parents, grandparents, and caretakers. Youth will not be present at this panel.

Why You Should Attend: Whether you've reached the stage where your children are exposed to substance use or not, we're inviting you to join us for an important discussion on how to practice prevention and intervention. Evidence suggests that exposure to substance use starts well before kids reach high school.

"When parents talk with their children early and often about alcohol and other drugs, they can protect their children from many of the high-risk behaviors associated with using these drugs...the earlier you start talking, the better."  - Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services
