Pamela Dharamsey Lee, an Interdisciplinary Teaching Artist has been presenting her work in schools, studios, theatres, and museums nationally. She has been working as a Teaching Artist with Arts & Humanities Bainbridge since 2004 and is pleased to be working in a new role alongside Inez Maubane Jones and Asa Rabin as Arts and Education Manager.
In 2001, she and her husband Joshua Lee formed their company Ox + Dragon to continue their productions, working with artists of all ages. Currently they are working with En-Joy Productions of Vashon to create a Seattle store-front installation in January of 2022. This will culminate in a series of performances in late January/early February.
Her current visual art series, Frozen Clothing; Embodiment of Spirit can be viewed at Bainbridge Ballet, and her shadowboxes are on display at Island Garden Dental Care.
Lee is also the creator of Be, an interdisciplinary pedagogy based on creative education, social justice awareness and socio-emotional development. In 2021 she created a series of educational videos through AHB and BIMA which will be released in the coming year.
Ms. Lee is looking forward to the creative collaborations that come with her new role at AHB, and to learn more about the rich cultural history past and present of Bainbridge Island.
